No insurance? We take away! |

While conducting general patrols around the local area of Penlan, Neighbourhood officers has come across a vehicle displaying possibly no insurance.
The vehicle in question was stopped, with further checks conducted which confirmed, that there was no insurance held. To be allowed to operate any form of vehicle on the public road, you need to have a valid drivers licences, MOT and full insurance. If neither of this is held, it is not permitted to operated any vehicle on the road.
As there was no insurance, we have removed the vehicle from public roads. Not only does this mean you loss your vehicle, it will accumulate extra charges from being recovered which is £150 , including storage cost between £20-£50 per day. So, from simply not making sure that the vehicle was legal to drive on the road, it has now become a costly experience for the owner of the vehicle.
Please make sure you and your vehicle is legal to operate on any public road, it is your responsibility and not someone else's.
Kind regards,
Penlan NPT.
